What is the true meaning of life?

The Lord can minister to people of all ages. It took me until I was 30 years old to realize the happiest and most peaceful time of my life was when I became closer to the Lord. You still have situations to overcome, but Jesus gives you a joy that things of this world cannot.

Upon giving my heart to Jesus, I have grown in my faith, and I know God is Real, Jesus is the Living Son of God and the Holy Spirit is here on Earth to be our Comforter. Whether you have attended church your entire life or never attended church, it was laid on my heart to share with you who Jesus really is. In present day there remains descriptions of Jesus that are not truly accurate. Alexa, the Amazon voice service speaker, describes Jesus as Jewish preacher and religious leader who became the central figure of Christianity. What Alexa should be referencing is the Biblical depiction of Jesus Christ who is the Living Son of God (John 3:16).

Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to know God, but through him (John 14:6). I am in awe when I think about how Christ was hanging on the cross looking out to the crowd and asked God to forgive them for they know not what they do. It amazes me to know the compassion and love that Jesus has for every person. He does not want anyone to perish. He wishes for everyone to spend eternity in heaven.

You are not alone

Whether single or married, we can experience loneliness. We are not alone. The Bible says in Romans 8:38-39 

38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

There is a lot of social media and media in general to keep you feeling connected in today’s society, but this doesn’t compare to the connectedness and relationship the Bible shows you can have with Jesus.  I want to encourage you to open the Bible and witness how the scripture will speak to you in times of loneliness. In reading God’s word, you will be able to see how God wants to communicate with you.

God doesn’t change through time, he is waiting on you and me to come sup with Him. Revelation 3:20 

20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

I want to encourage you to open up your heart and listen because God will often place someone on your heart.

One morning I was preparing breakfast and a person came to mind. This person had prepared our wedding video .I told my husband Jay that we should pray for him. The next morning when I came to work he called for job reference. God laid him on my heart for a reason and I was amazed, however, I shouldn’t have been surprised – God knows everyone’s needs. In this moment it occurred to me that we are not alone.
